Sean Dermott, Grade 8- Cello Kyle Jung, Grade 9- Viola Congrats guys!!! :) Thank you to my students who helped at the Peach Festival today in Middletown, DE. It was very cool to see my students become the teachers while they helped run our mini-instrument petting zoo at my booth.
Great job students!! Hopefully today you helped to inspire new students to try a stringed instrument and see what all the fun is about! :) I was extremely proud at the summer recital! The students performed beautifully and acted professionally, despite the "monsoon" that came through Middletown that day!
I was humbled by the overwhelming effort and support by parents and students to ensure that we had a successful performance despite a few weather set backs. Thanks to all! :) Congrats to the students of the Chamber Ensemble! These 9 string players performed at Christmas in Odessa and Willey Farms (near Santa). They played varied holiday repertoire including Christmas, Chanukah and Kwanzaa music! I am very proud of how much these young string players have accomplished, especially after only one year of lessons! Bravo!
